Tytan Distinguished with Top Honors at the 2011 Telly Awards

TYBEE ISLAND, Georgia (June 21, 2011) – Tytan claimed an astounding 22 awards out of 27 submissions at the 32nd Annual national Telly Awards. The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional, and national cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions and work created for the Web. Since 1978, the mission of the Telly Awards has been to strengthen the visual arts community by inspiring, promoting, and supporting creativity. The 32nd Annual Telly Awards received over 11,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents.

Tytan is the brainchild of Executive Producer and CEO Jim Stone and Chief Creative Officer Scott Jacobs, and is located on Tybee Island. This year’s total for the firm included 6 silver awards, the highest mark of achievement for the Telly Awards, and 16 bronze awards. Winning categories included local television commercials, viral video, employee communications, live events, visual effects and animation. The Tytan team is excited to have achieved a remarkable success rate at this year’s Telly Awards – 82% of the work submitted was awarded recognition by the judges.

Local clients honored for their award-winning work with Tytan include The Savannah Morning News (1 silver award and 5 bronze awards), South Magazine (2 bronze awards), Southern Motors Honda (1 silver award), Southern Motors Acura (1 bronze award) and Roxify Studio (1 bronze award). Tytan also took home honors for clients based in South Carolina, Illinois and California.
